HaleyAbout Me
I was born in California but raised in Denver and consider Colorado my true home. I was married to my Junior High sweetheart, Luke, in July 2013. We have two cute yet rambunctious puppies, Lily and Zoey.

My family is extremely close and we love spending time with one another. I love taking pictures and feel as if I can see the world clearly through the lens of a camera. I am passionate about world travel and have passport stickers from Africa and Australia, among others. I love traveling and meeting people around the world, fully immersing myself in their different cultures and can proudly say that I have friends in countries all around the globe.

Skills
The one thing I am most proficient in is:
Honesty.

The one thing my friends/employers have most appreciated about me is:
My straight-forward approach to dealing with things.

Something extraordinary I’ve done:
I traveled to Africa by myself my Junior year of High School, living with and serving the people of Senegal for over three months.

Professional Experience & Goals
I have been in childcare for over eight years, starting as an Aide and working my up to full-time directing . I finished my coursework for my director’s license in 2013 and became fully certified as a childcare director. Currently I am also pursuing a BA in social work.

My most important contribution to the classroom:
Promoting and inspiring creativity for the students and teachers.

It is my goal to ensure that every child and family receives the individual care and attention that they so desperately need. Small World Learning Center is not only a childcare, but a close knit family. I strive to make Small World Learning Center a home away from home for children and families as we journey through the ups and downs of childhood together.

LizzyAbout Me
I was born in Mission Hills, California but have spent the majority of my life being raised in Littleton, Colorado. I have a large family that includes two brothers and one brother-in-law, one sister and one sister-in-law, 3 beautiful nieces, and three dogs. I am blessed to be close with each and every one of them.

I enjoy reading, listening to music, and drinking coffee. I also roast my own coffee beans and enjoy trying to perfect the craft of roasting and brewing coffee. I love to learn about coffee and its rich history, journal, play music, and travel, experiencing different cultures. I don’t particularly enjoy sports, but I do like watching rugby when given the chance, especially Sonny Bill Williams and the New Zealand All Blacks. My favorite activities in Colorado are white water rafting and hiking, but only on short, flat trails.

Skills
The one thing I am most proficient in is:
Coffee and people

The one thing my friends/employers have most appreciated about me is:
My work ethic and passion.

Something extraordinary I’ve done:
At the tender age of 20 I have travelled all around the world to places including Mexico, the Netherlands, England, Fiji, Nigeria, Australia, Nepal, India, and Singapore.

Professional Experience & Goals
I have been working in childcare professionally since 2009. I graduated ThunderRidge High School in 2012, winning “Most Influential Senior”. I attended Colorado Christian University for one semester with a focus on Global Studies and Intercultural Studies before deciding to broaden my horizons by attending Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 2013-2014. I am now enrolled in Spring semester classes in order to achieve my lead teacher certificate, with my eventual goal of receiving my BA in Business.

I am constantly working to improve the food and nutritional value of the food here at Small World Learning Center while still making it fun and appealing to children.
