Toddler Childcare

Once your toddler is walking steadily and is ready to explore the world around them, they will move into a classroom specifically designed to create learning opportunities. At this age children learn mainly through play. The curriculum allows him or her to grow and learn during this special period in their life in which overall development is so important. Monthly themes around activities which involves play time. The teachers will carefully and gently direct each child in a way that he or she understands and learns. We teach the children to communicate through the use of verbal skills rather than becoming frustrated with pointing and screaming. We want your child to have a positive experience when they interact with their peers and participate in group activities. We will partner with you in deciding when the time is right to begin potty training. The teacher will make potty training a fun and encouraging time for both child and parents. This is an important year for your child in terms of expanding their language and developing a sense of self-worth and independence. Social skills are practiced on a daily basis, which helps them adapt better to preschool.
